Aluminum Billet Heating Furnaces
Aluminium logs/billets are heated up to 450 C before extrusion. Heating is carried out by direct heating via premix-nozzle jet burners and being operated with PLC.
This natural gas or LPG heated furnaces are very cost effective due to their low energy consumption.
Temperatures are measured from the surface of the billets by the help of moving(retractable) type of thermocouples.
Furnace insulation is made by light weight insulation materials which enables increased furnace efficiency and quick heating when first heating.
These furnaces can be integrated with hot log shears to use logs (4-7 m in length) resulting in reduced scrap rate and flexible production.
