Aluminium Ageing Furnace
Aluminium ageing furnaces are used to age profiles following the extrusion process. These furnaces, which are heated indirectly by electricity or gas, operate at a temperature of 185 °C.
Circulation fans fitted to the furnace ensure reversible air circulation within the furnace. This ensures that the furnace heats up uniformly, resulting in excellent hardness values in the product.
The ageing process is based on the principle of holding the material at specified temperature and time parameters following the solution heat treatment and quenching stages. This controlled process ensures uniform mechanical properties throughout the product, thereby enhancing the quality of the final product.
The Aluminium Ageing Furnaces manufactured by Acar Teknolojik Sistemler are custom designed to meet the process requirements of aluminium extrusion profiles, castings and aluminium components used in engineering applications.
